Diane Nystrom divides her time between counseling and working as a dental hygienist. She has developed a program to help those suffering from severe dental fear/phobia. The client begins in the therapy setting and progresses to the dental office, where Diane guides them through their dental experience.
Diane achieved her Associates degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Minnesota and went on to gain her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene from Northern Arizona University. She has practiced dental hygiene for over 30 years. She is licensed with the Arizona State Board of Dentistry.
Diane brings a level of empathy to her therapy practice that only life experience teaches. She has had experience working with adoption issues, divorce, depression/anxiety, life transitions and dental anxiety. She obtained her Masters of Counseling degree from the University of Phoenix and is licensed with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health.
